The Remote Darts League gets underway on Saturday night with five intriguing match-ups and all the action will be streamed live on our You Tube channel ( from 21:30.

James Richardson v Alan Norris (21:30)

PDC pair James Richardson and Alan Norris get things underway and bookmakers have Richardson as the shade of odds on favourite to win the best of 12 leg contest against the former BDO world championship runner-up.

Gary Robson v Dean Winstanley (22:00)

Second up is PDC 9 darter hero Dean Winstanley as he bids to cause an upset against Gary 'Big Robbo' Robson. Winstanley is as big as 100/30 to take the two points from this match.

Jim Williams v Wes Newton (22:30)

BDO world championship runner-up Jim Williams comes into this event as the outright favourite to take the title and it's no surprise to see him at odds on to get off to a flyer against Wes Newton. The Welshman is oozing confidence at the moment and is best price 1/2 to claim opening night victory.

Paul Hogan v Tony O'Shea (23:00)

Paul Hogan had an Indian summer at the O2 in January when he reached the Quarter-Finals of the BDO world championships and the man from Dudley is well-fancied on Saturday night against the veteran Tony O'Shea.

Darryl Fitton v John Walton (23:30)

The closing act on the opening night of the Remote Darts League brings together two BDO veterans in the shape of Darryl Fitton and John Walton. Walton is the rank outsider to win the event but will look to call on the spirit of his BDO world championship title win 19 years ago.
