Jim Williams heads the betting for the first Remote Darts League
With the opening Remote Darts League getting underway on Saturday, bookies have BDO world championship runner-up Jim Williams as the favourite to win the inaugural event. The Quiff heads the odds at 13/8 with the man he conquered in the quarter-finals at the O2 in January, Paul Hogan, the strong second favourite at 15/8.
The only other man at single figures is PDC player James Richardson at 9/1 with Dean Winstanley and Darryl Fitton fighting it out at 14/1. 2001 BDO world champion John Walton props up the betting at 50/1, but the eagle-eyed among you will be aware he was that price going into his victorious world championship.
